Terms and Conditions

Entry is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 or over. Employees of the promoter, the Football Association of Wales, campaign partners and their immediate families or agencies may not enter.

The competition is free to play. No purchase is necessary and no stake is required at any stage. Standard network charges may apply to access the site.

Each week one men’s duel and one women’s duel are published. For each duel you may submit one entry: select the player you believe will record the fastest shot and set a predicted speed. You may enter one or both competitions. One entry per competition per person per week; duplicate entries are void.

• Correct player and 0–1.0 mph away: 20 points.
• Correct player and more than 1.0 mph up to 3.0 mph away: 16 points.
• Correct player and more than 3.0 mph up to 5.0 mph away: 13 points.
• Correct player and more than 5.0 mph away: 10 points.
• Incorrect player: 1 participation point.
• Every valid prediction receives the stated participation reward. Only entrants who correctly predict the winning player are eligible for the Weekly Prize Draw. Among those entrants, the closest speed prediction to the verified radar speed wins the Closest-Speed Prize; if two or more eligible entries share the same closest speed, the earliest valid submitted entry wins.
• Five weekly rounds per competition: maximum 100 points in the men’s competition, 100 points in the women’s competition and 200 points combined.

Speeds are measured by the official campaign radar. The recorded measurement is final.

Three leaderboards run across weeks one to five: Men’s Master and Women’s Master, each with a maximum of 100 points, and a Combined Master with a maximum of 200 points, open to entrants who played both competitions every week. Leaderboards display first name and initial only. Ties are settled by the entrant whose predictions were closest in aggregate to the recorded speeds.

Across Weeks 1–5, every player’s fastest verified PowerShot is recorded. The male and female players with the highest radar-verified shot speeds qualify for the Week 6 PowerShot Record Challenge. Qualification is based on verified shot speed, not fan prediction points. Entrants predict the speed of each attempt only; no player pick is required. The closest prediction to each recorded speed wins the relevant Grand Final prize.

Prizes are as described on the prizes page. Prizes are non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. The promoter reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value. Winners are notified by email within seven days of the relevant draw and must respond within 14 days or the prize may be reallocated.

Automated entry, multiple accounts and any attempt to manipulate scoring will result in disqualification and removal from all leaderboards.

Personal data is handled in line with the privacy policy. Entry confirmations are service messages; marketing email requires separate optional consent.

The promoter may amend these terms or cancel the competition where necessary for reasons outside its reasonable control. These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
